Kapama River Lodge is positioned along a dry riverbed in the Kapama Game Reserve, South Africa. The Kapama Game Reserve is home to Africa's Big Five, namely Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. The Kapama Game Reserve also forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
Guests can easily access Kapama River Lodge. This South Africa safari lodge is situated only 4 and a half hours from Johannesburg. Guests can also fly direct to Eastgate Airport, located minutes from the Kapama Game Reserve. A Kapama 4x4 vehicle will transfer you to and from the airport at no extra charge.
Take the N1/N4 from Johannesburg via Witbank and Middleburg towards Nelspruit.
Turn left on the R540 towards Belfast.
In centre of town turn right (there will be a Total garage on your left hand side then) to Dullstroom and then on to Lydenburg.
Pass through Lydenburg taking the R36 to Ohrigstad, through the Strijdom Tunnel to Hoedspruit.
Once through Hoedspruit, turn right at the T-junction onto the R40 to Klaserie / Bushbuck Ridge.
Continue along the R40 (past the Eastgate Airport turn off, don’t turn left) until you reach the River Lodge Main gate on your left hand side.
